Carlin Llorente

Carlin Llorente serves as the Senior Vice President of Programs at FareStart since January 2022, focusing on the evolution of training and student support structures while securing investments for program enhancement. Prior to FareStart, Carlin held the position of Director of Strategic Partnerships at Washington STEM from June 2017 to January 2022, where a transformative network strategy was developed and implemented. In earlier roles at Washington STEM, Carlin advanced initiatives targeting Early STEM education for underrepresented children. Carlin’s career began at SRI International from July 2006 to April 2017, leading research programs and driving organizational development efforts. Additional experience includes positions at the Education Development Center managing a major technical assistance project. Carlin holds an Ed.M. in Human Development, Neuroscience, and Technology in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in Liberal Arts from The Evergreen State College.
