Lauren Young

Lauren Young has over two decades of experience in philanthropy and donor relations, currently serving as the Director of Individual Giving at FareStart since April 2009. In this role, Lauren spearheads fundraising strategies, oversees major and planned gifts, and provides leadership within the organization. Prior experience at FareStart includes positions such as Mission Advancement Officer and Rising Higher Campaign Manager, where responsibilities encompassed project management and campaign execution for significant fundraising initiatives. Earlier in the career, Lauren held the role of Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events at Lakeside School, where event planning and fundraising support for the Alumni Association were prioritized. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Italian Language and Literature from Middlebury College and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Italian from Vassar College, complemented by a high school diploma from Lakeside School.
