Jessica Batan is an experienced professional in public relations and community management with a robust background in marketing and social media. Currently serving as the institutional marketing leader and PR strategist at FARM Rio since August 2022, Jessica has also held positions such as Community Manager at Mutato and Creative Coordinator at Socialógica, emphasizing community growth and planning. Previous roles include work as an Ambassador at Meero, a Freelance Journalist for Por dentro da África, and a Production Assistant for NBC News during the Rio 2016 Olympics. Jessica's career in journalism began with an internship at the United Nations and includes previous social media roles with Botafogo Football and Botafogo News. Jessica holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and is currently furthering education at EBAC - Escola Britânica de Artes Criativas e Tecnologia.
