Laura Chesler

Laura Chesler currently serves as the Director of Philanthropy West & Corporate Giving at Farm Sanctuary since August 2020, having previously held roles including Major Gifts Officer and Director of Philanthropy, West. From January 2002, Laura has worked as a freelance writer, specializing in business collateral, copywriting, and articles for nonfiction magazines and trade publications. Prior experience includes various positions at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital from December 2009 to July 2020, where duties encompassed fundraising and event coordination. Earlier, Laura owned Perfect Game, a successful retail business recognized with multiple "Best of Santa Clarita" awards from 1995 to 2007. Academic credentials include an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the College of the Canyons and further studies at Southern Oregon University.
