Kristen Fyfe-Mills

Kristen Fyfe-Mills has a long and varied work experience. Kristen began their career in 1999 as a Producer, Writer, and Anchor at WRJA-TV, where they produced, wrote, and anchored two weekly public affairs programs and network specials for a statewide PBS affiliate. Kristen received Emmy and Telly Award nominations for their work. Kristen also provided freelance video services to corporate and nonprofit entities. In 2005, they moved to the Parents Television Council as a Senior Writer and Editor. In 2007, they joined the Media Research Center as a Senior Writer, Acting Communications Director, Culture & Media Institute, where they were a lead analyst and writer, publishing studies and columns in support of the organization's mission, as well as appearing as a spokesperson on national media outlets. In 2009, they joined the Association for Talent Development (ATD) as the Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications, leading a high-performing team of 18 professionals and overseeing marketing operations and analytics, digital marketing, product marketing, content marketing, social media, and video production. In 2010, they became the owner of The Pastoral Coach, where they focused on personal growth, team building, leadership, and communication skills, and also served as a retreat facilitator. In 2022, they joined Farmer Focus - Shenandoah Valley Organic as the Director of Employee Development & Engagement.

Kristen Fyfe-Mills has a diverse educational background. Kristen obtained a Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategies: Data, Automation, AI & Analytics from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2021. Kristen also holds a Certificate in Foundations of Management Excellence from Yale School of Management, an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University, an MA in Pastoral and Spiritual Care from Marymount University, and a BS in Radio and Television from Northwestern University. In addition, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, Association for Talent Development (ATD), The John Maxwell Team, and LinkedIn.
