Danny Odom is the Senior Credit Risk Officer at Farmer Mac. Danny has over 10 years of experience in the banking industry, specifically in credit products and underwriting. Danny started their career at Bank of the West in 2006 as a Vice President and Team Lead for the Credit Products Officer team. In this role, they managed underwriting and credit support staff for Bank of the West's Central Valley California Agribusiness offices - the largest region in the Bank's Agribusiness division. Danny was responsible for every aspect of the line unit credit function, including underwriting, working with relationship managers and credit approvers to arrange appropriate structure to meet the client's needs, balance the bank's risk and meet RAROC (Risk Adjusted Return on Capital) thresholds. In 2016, Danny left Bank of the West to join Farmer Mac as their Senior Credit Risk Officer. In this role, they are responsible for managing the credit risk for Farmer Mac's portfolio of loans and investments.
