Austin Knauer

Austin Knauer began their work experience in 2017 as a Field Industrial Engineer Intern at Lowe's Companies, Inc. In this role, they updated receiving and shipping rates for various item classes, allocating an $8.2 million budget.

In 2018, Knauer worked as an Operations Engineer at Medline Industries, Inc. Austin utilized data analytics skills and Lean tools to update the corrugate backflush process and warehouse layout. Austin also conducted collaborative research to determine the benefits of implementing a Warehouse Management System and participated in a production room redesign project.

From 2017 to 2019, Knauer served as a Resident Assistant at the University of Tennessee. Austin was responsible for looking after residents and received recognition for being the most outstanding first-year Resident Assistant, receiving the "Smokey Award."

In 2019, Knauer joined Medline Industries, Inc. as a Process Engineer. Austin'sprimary focus was using technology and data analytics to increase workplace efficiencies in production and warehouse settings, including plastic mold injection machines and processes.

Most recently, Knauer joined Farmer's Business Network, Inc. in 2021 as a Sales Development Representative, where they are currently employed.

Austin Knauer attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2015 to 2019. Austin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering during this time.
