Gilbert Chang's work experience begins in 1994 when they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Alysis Technologies. In this role, they played a key role in developing the workflow system and application framework for RemitVision, a remittance processing and image archiving system. Gilbert also developed various workflow client applications on multiple platforms.
In 1999, Chang joined Vitria as an Architect. Gilbert was responsible for the architecture of the platform/connector group, leading the development of the connector framework/SDK, and creating a wide range of connectors for multiple product releases. Gilbert also led the development of the migration framework for a major product release.
From 2003 to 2010, Chang worked as a Senior Architect at Augmentum. In this role, they contributed to the architecture of various projects.
In 2010, Chang became the Senior Director of Product & Technology at Works Systems, Inc. Gilbert held this position until 2011.
From 2011 to 2014, Chang worked at SuccessFactors as an Architect.
In 2014, they joined Quri as a Senior Engineer and stayed with the company until 2016.
Chang's next position was at Amazon Web Services, where they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer from 2016 to 2019.
Currently, Chang is employed as a Software Engineer at Farmer's Business Network, Inc., starting in October 2019.
Gilbert Chang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology, completing their studies from 1992 to 1994.
