Morgan Wheeler has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Marketing & Development Assistant at The DuBois Group, where they contributed to a capital campaign for the YMCA of Greater Long Beach. They then worked as a Project Manager at Park Financial Group, where they developed a program to help students transition into full-time employment. After that, they served as a Project and Technology Manager at the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games (SCCOG) / L.A. Sports Council. Following this, Morgan worked as an Account Executive/New Media Strategist at Idea Hall, overseeing various client projects. They then joined Laserfiche as a Solutions Architect, Sales & Marketing Manager, where they played a crucial role in sales, marketing strategy, and project management. Morgan then worked at Cities Digital, Inc. as the Director of Enterprise Sales & Solutions, where they managed sales, project management, and developed marketing strategies. In 2014, they became a Commissioner at the City of Long Beach's Sustainable City Commission. Currently, Morgan works at Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach as the Vice President, Business Intelligence, overseeing the bank's reporting efforts, data integration processes, and content management system.

Morgan Wheeler attended California State University, Long Beach from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Marketing. They later returned to the same university from 2013 to 2017 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management, General.

In addition to their formal education, Morgan has obtained various certifications. In May 2019, they received CPR/AED/First Aid training from the American Red Cross. In the same month, they also obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In May 2020, Morgan acquired the General Class Amateur Radio License from the Federal Communications Commission. They further obtained Open Water Diver certification from PADI in August 2021 and Advanced Open Water Diver certification in April 2022. They also hold the Laserfiche Gold Certification, achieved in 2018. Lastly, Morgan aspired to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), although no specific information regarding the completion of this certification is available.
