Nikita Saygakov

Nikita Saygakov is currently a Credit Officer at Fasanara Capital. Prior to joining Fasanara Capital, Nikita Saygakov worked as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at Citi from June 2019 to August 2019. At Citi, Nikita Saygakov headed the valuation stream for buy side client acquisition in the asset management space and led the operating stream for the global IPO for one of the clients. Nikita Saygakov also assisted in the preparation of board materials including valuation stream for the merger of two financial institutions and supported the development of defence mechanism presentation for one of the financial institutions.

From January 2014 to July 2018, Nikita Saygakov worked as a Manager, Commercial Banking at CIBC where they managed a credit portfolio with total authorized credit facilities in excess of CAD $200m by conducting more than 50 direct client meetings with business owners and senior management. Nikita Saygakov also originated and closed real estate financing including bridge loan with total amount of CAD $25m which resulted in the largest transaction for the team. In addition, Nikita Saygakov generated and led business transition lending transaction for private distribution company with total value of CAD $11m. Lastly, Nikita Saygakov conducted business development with corporate finance advisories to attract new clients with enterprise values between CAD $40m and CAD $200m.

Nikita Saygakov has a Masters in Finance from the London Business School and a BCom from the University of Ottawa.
