Aafke Kauffman

Aafke Kauffman is an experienced interior designer currently employed at IKEA Group since October 2016, focusing on translating the IKEA concept into retail designs that enhance customer experiences. As the founder and designer of FastFabrics, Aafke has developed innovative textile products for sports, receiving recognition as the winner of Horses Product of the Year. Previous roles include product and web designer at Jungle Gym B.V., user-centered designer at Muzus, graduate designer at Spark design & innovation, and trainee at WAACS Design & Consultancy. Aafke holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Delft University of Technology and a propedeuse in Interaction Design from HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht).
