Nipun Alahakoon

Nipun Alahakoon's work experience includes a role as a Salesforce Developer at Fastly starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Virtusa from 2015 to 2022, holding various roles including Lead Consultant - Technology (July 2021 to December 2022), Senior Consultant - Technology (January 2020 to June 2021), Consultant - Technology (April 2019 to December 2019), Associate Consultant - Technology (October 2017 to March 2019), Engineer - Technology (October 2016 to September 2017), and Associate Engineer - Technology (November 2015 to September 2016). During their time at Virtusa, Nipun Alahakoon performed tasks such as configuring and customizing Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ, migrating product catalogs and price books, designing and developing applications using Oracle PL-SQL, and working with PL-SQL rest services and queues.

Nipun Alahakoon obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, Nipun completed a PGD in Higher Education Qualifications - Computer Science from the British Computer Society - The Chartered Institute for IT. Nipun also holds a Highschool Degree in Mathematics from Kingswood Collage, which was earned from 2003 to 2012. Additionally, Nipun has pursued additional certifications, including becoming a Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist from Salesforce in September 2021 and a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in July 2021. Nipun has also engaged in online learning through platforms such as Coursera and edx, with a focus on data science and computer science.
