Christopher Ellis

Christopher Ellis has a diverse work experience in the finance and metals industry. Christopher started their career as an intern at Hermes Fund Managers in 2009 before moving on to a sales role at Informa Global Markets. In 2010, they joined Metal Bulletin where they worked as an Index Analyst, focusing on benchmarking in the iron ore spot market and the development of pricing indices. Christopher later became the Manager of Metal Bulletin Indices until 2016. Currently, Christopher is working at Fastmarkets as the Strategy Director for Metals, starting in 2022. Christopher has also held the positions of Director of Price Development at Fastmarkets at different times throughout their tenure. Their expertise lies in pricing mechanisms, index development, and strategy.

Christopher Ellis attended Wimbledon College from 1998 to 2005. Christopher then went on to study Economics (Hons) at the University of Exeter from 2005 to 2008.
