Larry Wilson has an extensive work experience in the medical field. Larry started their career as a Resident at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in 1998. Larry then worked as a Physician at Holston Medical Group from 2001 to 2009, where they served as a Physician Leader on the Health I.T. committee and was involved in bringing Electronic Medical Records to Virginia.
From 2009 to 2011, Larry worked as a Physician at Georgetown Health Group and then joined Wake Forest Family Physicians as a Duke University Associated Clinical Physician from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also took on the role of Physician Advisor at Executive Health Resources from 2012 to 2013.
In 2013, Larry joined CardioDx as a Regional Medical Director and later took on the additional role of Medical Science Liaison. Larry then served as the Regional Medical Director at FASTMED URGENT CARE from 2016 until their most recent role as the Medical Director - Strategic Behavioral Health Center at Moore Medical Group.

Larry Wilson completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Hampton University in the years 1985 to 1989. Larry then pursued a Master's degree in Cellular Physiology from Northern Illinois University, which was completed from 1990 to 1992. Following this, Larry attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained their Medical Doctor degree specialized in Medicine.
In terms of additional certifications, Larry obtained the Buprenorphine Waiver in April 2016. Furthermore, they achieved Board Certification in Family Medicine, as well as certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NALS (Neonatal Advanced Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics). These certifications were obtained from the American Board of Family Practice, although the precise months and years are unspecified.
