John Gnagy

John Gnagy has extensive experience in software engineering and development tools and infrastructure. John worked at FastSpring as a Senior DevOps Engineer starting in 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at LogMeIn from 2017 to 2020, where they were the team lead/tech lead for a development tools and infrastructure team. At Citrix from 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for designing and implementing a multi-region data storage, replication, and disaster recovery back end in AWS, as well as migrating on-prem services to the AWS cloud. At Cisco, John held various roles including Technical Leader, Software Tools and Engineering Productivity, Senior Software Engineer, Application Oriented Networking, and Software Engineer, Content Networking. In these roles, they led the implementation of core tool features and the project to aggregate SCM systems, oversaw the software development infrastructure for a new business unit, and developed build/test infrastructures for new and existing products.

John Gnagy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine. In addition, they acquired the certification in AWS: Enterprise Security from LinkedIn in March 2021.
