Hamish Wilkinson

Hamish Wilkinson, currently a Scientific Model Developer at Fathom, leads the technical development of FABDEM+ and is part of the coastal team. Previously, Hamish worked as a Climate Risk Analyst at Dye & Durham UK, focusing on developing hazard models, sourcing climate model outputs, and automating reports. Before that, at Geollect Limited, Hamish worked as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst, specializing in online app production and spatial analysis. Hamish's experience also includes roles as a Graduate Ground Engineer at Structural Soils and GIS Analyst at Geo Smart Decisions Ltd. Hamish holds a Master of Science in Climate Change Science and Policy from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Earth Science from Swansea University. Prior to Hamish's professional career, they were an Outdoor Pursuits Instructor at Valkyrie Craft, specializing in outdoor activities and boat building.
