Earlier in their career, they worked as a Freelance Consultant & Trainer from 2006 to 2012, a Consultant and Trainer at Quscient Technologies from 2008 to 2010, a Consultant-Process & CMMI at CNSI from 2007 to 2008, and as Head-Delivery Excellence at Hexaware Technologies in 2006. Suriyanarayanan also served as the Head of Quality & Training at Fidelity National Information Services from 2000 to 2004, and as the Head of TQM Group (Bangalore Centers) at Covansys from 1998 to 2000. Suriyanarayanan Ram attended Hindu High School in Chennai from 1962 to 1970, where they completed their S.S.L.C degree in Physical Sciences. Following that, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 1971 to 1976 and graduated with a B.Tech degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
