Alan Hines

Alan Hines is an experienced Senior Data Engineer at Favor since July 2016 and has also served as a Senior Database Administrator at Invodo from January 2011 to the present. In this role, Alan manages and optimizes a multiple-terabyte PostgreSQL database for client analytics, overseeing the entire ETL pipeline and reporting queries. Previously, Alan was a Web Applications Developer at Wayport, Inc. from July 1999 to January 2011, where notable achievements included the development of a customizable portal connection experience, leading to two awarded patents. Alan also held a web development position at Internet MediaWorks, managing numerous websites for the commercial real estate sector. Early in their career, Alan contributed as a freelance writer for mondo 2000 and worked as a reporter and news editor for The Daily Texan. Alan holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
