Howard Cohen

Howard Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Howard currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Fay Financial since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the President, Financial Services and Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at the same company. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Chief Compliance Officer at Fay Financial.

Before joining Fay Financial, Cohen worked at Ideation Global, Inc. as the Managing Partner and Principal Consultant from 2008 to 2016. In this role, they provided consulting services in compliance management, risk management, project management, and process engineering to mortgage origination and servicing clients.

Cohen also had experience working at Bank of America as a Consultant from 2011 to 2016, Saxon Mortgage as a Consultant from 2009 to 2011, Resources Global Professionals as a Consultant from 2008 to 2009, and ULA - United Launch Alliance - Lockheed Martin & Boeing as a Consultant from 2008 to 2009.

Their earlier roles include serving as the VP, Mortgage Operations at IndyMac Bank from 2004 to 2008, and as a Senior Project Manager at Option One Mortgage from 2001 to 2004. Cohen started their career as a Project Manager/Director at Great-West Life from 1997 to 2001.

Howard Cohen attended Freehold Twp High School from 1983 to 1987. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University at Albany, SUNY from 1988 to 1992. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and focused on subjects such as Economics, Business, and Computer Science. In 2002, Howard also obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from the institution Six Sigma Qualtec.
