Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy has extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Tim currently holds the position of VP - IT Governance at Fay Financial since November 2021. Prior to this, Tim worked as the CIO at Texas A&M University-Commerce from August 2013 to November 2021. Tim also served as the Director at Columbia Advisory Group from December 2012 to August 2013. Tim's previous role as the Director of IT at PrimeSource FSE spanned from September 1997 to December 2012, where they were responsible for managing all aspects of the IT department and leading the IT steering committee. Before that, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Koch Industries from May 1988 to September 1997. Tim has a wealth of experience in IT management, project management, budgeting, vendor relationships, and strategic planning.

Tim Murphy attended The University of Kansas from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at UMKC from 1986 to 1988, obtaining an MBA with a specialization in Quantitative Analysis.
