Tom Sokan

Tom Sokan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tom currently serves as the Data Governance Lead at Fay Servicing, LLC, starting in October 2020. Prior to that, they were employed at Northern Trust Corporation as the Vice President of Data Governance from May 2017 to September 2020.

Before their role at Northern Trust, Tom worked at HSBC for a significant portion of their career. From December 2012 to December 2016, they held the position of Vice President of Data & Information Management, where they provided strategic and tactical information systems support for various strategic initiatives and regulatory reporting. Tom also held positions such as Vice President of Risk Systems & Data Quality from May 2011 to November 2012, Vice President of Business Analysis in January 2011, and Assistant Vice President of Business Analysis from August 2009 to December 2010.

Tom's earlier roles at HSBC include Assistant Vice President of Marketing – New Product Development from December 2005 to May 2009, Assistant Vice President of Business Analysis from February 2005 to November 2005, Assistant Vice President of Compliance from July 2000 to January 2005, and Manager of Operations from June 1997 to June 2000. Throughout their career, Tom has gained expertise in data governance, risk systems, business analysis, and compliance.

Tom Sokan attended DePaul University where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts.
