Ken McCartney

Ken McCartney has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ken began their career as a Tour Guide for Gray Line Toronto in 2002, where they provided commentary for bus tours and also handled sales and private charters. After working with Gray Line Toronto for five years, Ken transitioned to a role as a GIS Technician at the Town of New Tecumseth in 2008. In this position, they utilized their skills in Geographic Information Systems to support the municipality's mapping and spatial analysis needs.

In 2012, Ken joined Intricity as a Web Technologies Consultant. In this role, they provided consultation and expertise in web technologies, helping clients optimize their online presence and develop effective web solutions. After four years with Intricity, Ken moved on to work with MasterSolve Inc as a Senior Consultant in 2016. In this capacity, they were responsible for providing development and business analyst services for CRM and marketing automation systems. Additionally, Ken contributed to software system design, development, and data integration projects.

Most recently, Ken McCartney joined Faye in 2022 as a Senior Developer. As a part of the development team, they are involved in creating and enhancing software solutions, leveraging their expertise in programming and software development. With their extensive experience in various roles and industries, Ken brings a diverse skill set and a strong background in technology and data-driven solutions.

Ken McCartney attended the University of Toronto from 2001 to 2007, where they obtained a HBA degree with a focus on East Asian Studies, Geography, and Political Science. Ken then went on to complete a Diploma in GIS Application Specialist at Fleming College from 2007 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Ken McCartney obtained the Toastmasters International "Competent Communicator" certification in August 2018. Ken also obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including the "Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner" certification in March 2021 and the "Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate" certification in July 2021. Additionally, Ken McCartney obtained several certifications related to SugarCRM, including the "Certified Sugar Administration Specialist" certification in June 2022, the "Certified Sugar Solution Architect Professional" certification in June 2022, and the "Certified Sugar Developer Specialist" certification in February 2021.
