Andreas Berglöf

Andreas Berglöf serves as the Policy and Advocacy Advisor for Health at WaterAid Sverige since February 2021, focusing on initiatives for clean water, sanitation, and hygiene worldwide. With a long-standing role as an Election Observer for the FBA since November 2001, Andreas has contributed to democratic processes in several Eastern European countries under OSCE management. Previously, Andreas held the position of Programme Officer for Public Policy and Advocacy at RFSU from August 2013 to February 2021, promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights in Sweden. Additional roles include serving as an alternate in the Municipal Assembly and Sports Committee of the City of Stockholm, Board member for Let's talk HIV, Advocacy Officer and Organisation Manager at the Swedish Hemophilia Society, and previous contributions as a board member and chairman for Brommamoderaterna. Andreas began a career in advocacy at Hiv-Sweden, working to uphold the rights of HIV-positive individuals while managing daily operations. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Social Science from Uppsala University, specializing in Social and Economic Geography and Development Studies.
