Andreas Wentzel has extensive work experience in the field of high-frequency technology. Andreas started their career in 2004 as a student research assistant at Technische Universität Berlin. In 2006, they joined Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik as a PhD student and research assistant. After completing their PhD, they continued working at the institute as a post-doc and senior research assistant until September 2015. Since October 2015, they have been serving as the Head of Digital PA Lab at the same institute.

Andreas Wentzel completed their education in the field of Electrical Engineering/Microwaves. Andreas obtained their Dipl.-Ing. (Graduate Engineer) degree from Technische Universität Berlin, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Later, they pursued a higher academic degree and obtained a PhD, Dr.-Ing., from Ferdinand-Braun-Institut/Technical University Berlin between 2006 and 2011.
