Manuel Torres Kortright has extensive experience in the advertising industry. Manuel is currently serving as the VP Creative Director at FCB Chicago since October 2021. Before that, they worked at Energy BBDO as a Creative Director from June 2017 to October 2021, and as an Associate Creative Director / AD from November 2016 to June 2017. Manuel also had a freelance role as an Associate Creative Director at LAPIZ from March 2016 to October 2016. Manuel has also held the position of Creative Director (Digital/Interactive) at Lapiz / Leo Burnett from November 2012 to October 2014 and at JWT from March 2008 to November 2012. Manuel has also worked as a Creative Director at Nobox Marketing Group from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they served as ACD / Art Director - Creative Manager at McCann Erickson from 2004 to 2007. Manuel started their career as a Senior Art Director at Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi from October 2001 to September 2002 and as an Art Director at De La Cruz & Ogilvy from September 2000 to October 2001. Manuel's first role in the industry was as an Art Director at Editorial Televisa from 1998 to 2000.

Manuel Torres Kortright has a diverse education history. Manuel obtained a Master's degree in Interactive Design & Multimedia/Interface Design from the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona, which they completed from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine and Studio Arts from the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they attended a Hyper Island Master Class in NYC in 2010.

Manuel also pursued studies in Fine and Studio Arts at the University of Rhode Island in 1996. Manuel'searlier education includes completing high school at Academia Perpetuo Socorro from 1989 to 1993.

As for certifications, Manuel became an Alumni of the Hyper Island Master Class in October 2010, earning the title of Hyper Island Master Class Alumni.
