Emily Whiteaway has a diverse work experience in the advertising and media industry. Emily started their career as a Researcher at Impossible Pictures in 2011. Emily then worked as an Account Manager at Diffusion Media and The 7th Chamber from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, they joined The Social Partners as an Account Manager. Their role at FCB Inferno began in 2015 as a Senior Account Manager, where they worked until 2017. Emily then became an Account Director at FCB Inferno, working on campaigns for Unicef UK, Global, and the Home Office. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Account Director and is currently serving as the Business Director, leading the government portfolio. Emily's work involves collaborating with various government agencies and charity partners to create award-winning behavior change campaigns. Notable campaigns include those addressing violence against women and girls, police recruitment, and initiatives promoting sports and green bonds.
Emily Whiteaway attended the University of Leeds from 2007 to 2010. During this period, they achieved a first-class Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
