Erich S.

Erich S. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Erich started their career in 1996 as an Independent IT Consultant for Novacare. Erich then worked as an Independent Decision Support Consultant for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in 1999. Later that year, Erich worked as a Sr. Oracle Application DBA/Decision Support at Genesis Healthcare. In 2000, they joined Broadbase Software as an Application Consultant/DBA, which was later acquired by KANA Software. From 2001 to 2003, Erich served as a Senior DBA/Team Leader at Electronic Data Systems. In 2003, they worked at IBM as an Executive in IT Architecture. Erich also had a role at ESCgov as a Director of Strategic Programs & Initiatives/Field CTO from 2008 to 2016. Erich then joined Dell EMC as a Sr. Manager, Principal Engineer M9 from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Erich is working as a Principal Engineer at FCN Inc. in a leadership role, providing expertise in various areas including SaaS, IT training & development, and contract negotiations. Additionally, Erich has been an Independent Advisor for multiple software startups since 2000.

Erich S. started their education at Penn State University in 1991 and completed their studies in 1996. Erich obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Behavioral Sciences with a dual degree focus. In 1998, Erich returned to Penn State University and earned a Graduate Certification from the College of Engineering, Great Valley Graduate Center in Computer Science.

After a significant gap in their education, Erich pursued further studies in 2019. Erich attended Shenandoah University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2020. Following that, Erich enrolled at Colorado State University in 2020 to pursue another Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), expected to be completed in 2025.

Apart from their formal education, Erich has also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they were certified as a VMware Certified Professional for Data Center Virtualization and VMware vSphere Foundations. In 2020, they obtained SV (Server Virtualization) VSP and VTSP certification from VMware. Erich also holds an SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) VSP and VTSP certification from VMware since 2020. In 2021, they acquired the MAP (Modern Applications Platform) "TANZU" VSP and VTSP certification from VMware. Additionally, Erich earned the Docker Sales Professional certification from Docker, Inc in 2019.
