Lailani Favazzo

In pursuit of her passion for animal welfare, Lailani graduated from Arizona State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership & Management as well as the Certified Nonprofit Professional certificate. However, Lailani’s professional experience advocating for animals dates back to 2014 during her first position as an Animal Care Attendant at a nonprofit animal shelter in Pennsylvania. Since then, she has gained knowledge and experience in event planning and coordination, program coordination, and organizational marketing while serving in various roles in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors of animal welfare. A long-time admirer of Fear Free and Fear Free Shelters graduate, Lailani’s passion led her to joining the Fear Free team as the Event Marketing Specialist.

Lailani currently resides in the Atlanta Metro area with her husband and two pups, Jolteon and Odin. When not snuggling with her dogs, Lailani can be found volunteering for My Pit Bull is Family and local animal shelters, reading, hiking, and enjoying yummy food.
