Akikul Islam

Akikul Islam is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and system administration. Currently serving as Site Reliability Engineer Team Lead at Featurespace since June 2017, Akikul oversees the management and security of a global SaaS offering on AWS, utilizing tools such as Terraform and Salt for infrastructure improvements. Previous roles include Senior Support Engineer and Systems Administrator at Nikon Optical UK Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed network and server infrastructure management across various platforms. Additional experience includes positions at the University of Bedfordshire, Home Retail Group PLC, and Fujitsu, providing technical support and application management. Akikul holds a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Westminster.
