Alessandro Tomao

Alessandro Tomao is an accomplished executive and lawyer with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as a member of the executive board at FEBRABAN since January 2019 and as General Counsel and Executive Vice-President at Banco Santander since July 2010, Alessandro has played key roles in corporate legal matters and governance. Alessandro is a member of the board of directors for Santander Securities Services and has previously held board positions at Olé Consignado, Banesprev, Santanderprevi, and Sanprev, demonstrating strong leadership in various governance roles. Prior experience includes a tenure as coordinator of the Labor Law Subcommittee of FEBRABAN and positions as a fiscal councilor at Banesprev and Fundação Itaú Social. Alessandro holds an MBA in Business Administration from USP and a law degree from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM.
