Gabriel Santamaria

Gabriel Santamaria is an experienced professional in sustainability and governance, currently serving as Gerente Geral and Head de Sustentabilidade at Banco do Brasil since July 2010. Gabriel has held various leadership positions, including Gerente Executivo and Senior Sustainability Advisor. Additionally, Gabriel contributes to multiple committees, such as Membro do Comitê ASG at banco BV, Membro do Comitê de Sustentabilidade at Cielo, and Membro no Comitê ESG at FEBRABAN. Prior to Banco do Brasil, Gabriel coordinated corporate communication at Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. Gabriel holds an MBA in Gestão de Pessoas with a focus on Liderança Organizacional from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, a Master's degree in Gestão Empresarial from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and an undergraduate degree from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
