Gustavo Araya

Gustavo Araya is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in the hotel and restaurant industry, as well as legal practice. Currently serving as Secretario General at Federación Costarricense de Fútbol since October 2020, Gustavo also holds the position of Managing Partner at Hotel Wyndham Herradura and Vermont Investment Group, S.A., where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and business development, respectively. With a background as a Partner at Latin America Tourist Development, Inc. from April 2014 to November 2021, Gustavo contributed to the growth of the tourism sector. Previously, an Associate Attorney at Arias & Muñoz, Gustavo began a legal career in real estate and litigation, advancing within tax and corporate law. Gustavo earned a Licenciado degree from Universidad de La Salle in 2002.
