Shawn Khani

Shawn Khani is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in trading, risk management, and financial resolutions. Currently serving as Senior Deputy Director at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since May 2010, Shawn has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Deputy Director and Associate Director across multiple divisions focused on resolutions, receiverships, and risk management. Prior to FDIC, Shawn garnered extensive experience as Head Trader and Portfolio Manager at CarVal Investors and Managing Director at The Winter Group, where significant roles were undertaken in structured products and securitization. Early career positions include Associate Trader at Credit Suisse and Analyst at Prudential Securities. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Miami and a certification in Blockchain Technologies from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
