Peter Grof

Peter Grof currently serves as the Director of Community Investment Strategy at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, a role assumed in June 2023. Previously, from October 2009 to May 2023, Peter Grof held various leadership positions at New Jersey Community Capital, including Director of Strategic and Social Impact, where responsibilities included refining impact assessment frameworks and storytelling around community effects. Key accomplishments during this tenure included propelling the first-ever New Jersey State Budget Appropriation of $2 million and raising approximately $150 million in investments. Early career experiences include internships and roles focused on housing and real estate, international shipping coordination, and community development initiatives. Peter Grof holds a Master’s in Public Policy with a focus on Community Development from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and German from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
