Steve Runyon

Steve Runyon is an accomplished Information Security Engineer with over two decades of experience, currently employed at the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York since May 2002. In this role, Steve specializes in security monitoring, network architecture, and incident response, encompassing responsibilities for SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other critical security systems. Prior to this position, Steve worked in Research and Development at EBS Dealing Resources International Limited, where technical research focused on communications and information security. Steve's career began at the Office of Thrift Supervision, where innovative models for evaluating bank safety using artificial neural networks were developed. Steve holds several GIAC certifications from the SANS Institute and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management.
