Matthew Heneka R.n.

Matthew Heneka R.N. is an experienced healthcare professional and law enforcement officer with a diverse background in security operations and emergency services. Currently serving as Branch Chief of Field Security Operations and Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers since February 2022, Matthew previously held various roles including Detective in the Criminal Investigation Division at Nassau County Sheriff's Office and Registered Nurse in Emergency Departments at Baptist Health Nassau and Vassar Brothers Medical Center. A retired Lieutenant/Deputy Sheriff from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Matthew also served as a Task Force Officer with the FBI and has experience as an Investigator for the Dutchess County District Attorney Office. Educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Applied Science-Nursing from Dutchess Community College, completion of the FBI National Academy, and ongoing professional development as a Registered Professional Nurse.
