Courtney Killion has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Courtney began their career in 2002 with the United States Army Reserve, working as a Human Resources Specialist. Courtney served in this role until 2016, with a promotion to the rank of SFC and later SSG. During this time, they also worked as a LOGCAP Support NCO. In 2005, they joined the United States Department of the Army as a Unit Administrator before transitioning to the role of Human Resources Specialist in 2010. In 2011, they joined the US Department of Transportation as a Staff Assistant, where they worked until 2015. Courtney is currently the Director of Human Resources at the Federal Maritime Commission, a position they have held since May 2020.
Courtney Killion obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University in 2018.
