Ovat Bassey is an accomplished computer engineering professional with extensive experience in the public sector. Currently serving as Chief Computer Engineer at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development since January 2021, Ovat has held various roles within the same ministry, including Principal Computer Analyst since September 2011. Previous positions include Senior Computer Analyst at the Public Service Institute of Nigeria and Computer Analyst at the Federal Ministry of Finance Headquarters in Abuja. Ovat began a career in computer analysis at the NIMC and worked as a Field Engineer at Associated Data Systems.
