James Gilbert

James Gilbert is a Lead Risk Management Specialist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where cybersecurity expertise is applied to identify technology risks across the 7th District and various financial institutions. Previously, James served as a Technical Security Specialist for the Federal Government, conducting risk assessments and technical security inspections. Prior to that, James worked as a Counterintelligence Specialist with ManTech International, providing support to Multi-National Forces in Iraq. James began a military career in the US Army, holding the position of Deputy Program Manager in South Korea, ensuring security for high-profile officials. Education includes a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University.
