Kunal Patel

Kunal Patel is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in various analytical roles within the financial services and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Business Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since January 2017, Kunal contributes to internal updates, energy surveys, conferences, and advisory councils. Prior to this role, Kunal held multiple positions at Luminant from 2013 to 2016, focusing on natural gas fundamentals and market analysis. Kunal's earlier experiences include roles at McKinsey & Company, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Lockheed Martin, and Alcatel-Lucent, where Kunal developed expertise in commodity trading, risk assessment, and business analytics. Kunal holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Honors and Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
