Gene Huang has a diverse work experience in the field of financial economics and risk management. Gene began their career as a Consultant at Northwest Airlines in 1996 before moving on to Bank One/First USA as a Risk Management professional in 1997. In 2001, they joined JP Morgan Chase and worked in the Decision Sciences/Risk Management role until 2005. Gene then worked at Bookspan as a Database Marketing Manager from 2004 to 2005. Gene later joined JP Morgan Chase again in 2005 in the role of Decision Technology Sr. Manager, where they managed various modeling teams and a policy team. Finally, in 2013, they joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia as a Principal Financial Economist.
Gene Huang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from National Taiwan University in 1990. Later, in 1992, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Fu Jen Catholic University. In 1995, Gene received a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biostatistics from UCLA. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Financial Engineering from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2014.
