Cathy Walters has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Cathy began their career as an Office Manager at Options Mental Health in 1991 and then served as a Program Manager at the National Assessment Institute from 1992 to 1998. Following this, they worked as a Senior Manager Fraud Detection and Customer Relations Manager at Capital One from 1998 to 2002. Cathy then served as a Customer Service Manager at SunCom Wireless from 2002 to 2004. Cathy joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in 2004 and held the position of Vendor/Project Manager and HR Generalist until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Customer Service Manager at GE Lighting - NCSC. Cathy then worked as a Virginia Licensing Program Manager at Ergometrics/National Testing Network from 2014 to 2015. Cathy has most recently worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since 2016, starting as an HR Generalist/Staffing Specialist and currently serving as the Human Resources - Employee Experience Team Lead.

Cathy Walters attended the University of Virginia from 1986 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
