Craig E. Schaefer

Craig Schaefer is the Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Craig has over seven years of experience in application development and customer service. Prior to their current position, Schaefer was the Director of Application Development at Washington University in St. Louis where they oversaw university-wide financial and research applications.

Schaefer has completed several large projects during their career, including migrating email users from a Lotus Notes environment to Microsoft Exchange and consolidating several decentralized help desks within the central IT department into a single solution. Craig also implemented organizational changes to satisfy the separation of duties required by SOX. This required the selection and deployment of a software solution to perform and track all application changes across several development platforms, as well as creating policies and procedures for the department with respect to production change control and audit requirements.

Craig E. Schaefer's educational career includes completing an MBA in Business from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a second MBA in Physics from the school's Olin Business School. Craig also holds a Master of Science in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Truman State University.
