Attorney Advisor To Commissioner Alvaro Bedoya at Federal Trade Commission

Danielle Estrada is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in consumer protection and privacy law. Currently serving as Attorney Advisor to Commissioner Alvaro Bedoya at the Federal Trade Commission since August 2013, Danielle has held various significant roles within the agency, including Senior Attorney in the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection and Counsel to the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection. Prior to joining the FTC, Danielle worked as an Associate at Covington & Burling and O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter J. Messitte at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Danielle holds an A.B. in History from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
