Theresa A. Worden

Theresa A. Worden is an experienced professional in the humanities and museum fields, currently serving as the Director of Engagement & Impact at the Federation of State Humanities Councils since May 2022. Previously, Theresa held various roles at Maryland Humanities from January 2016 to May 2022, including Senior Manager of Data & Evaluation and Program Officer focused on Traveling Exhibitions and Program Evaluation. Theresa managed the Monitoring and Evaluation program, ensuring the inclusive use of data collected, as well as coordinated the Museum on Main Street program in Maryland. Additional experience includes curatorial roles at Captain Avery Museum Inc. and independent consulting positions, as well as an internship at the Smithsonian Institution. Theresa A. Worden holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, among other credentials.
