Joel Carvalhais is an experienced professional in the field of fraud prevention and risk management, currently serving as a Product Expert - Transaction Fraud and Senior Product Manager at Feedzai since March 2017. In these roles, Joel focuses on developing innovative products for Risk Operations teams to enhance risk assessment. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Manager of Risk Strategy, Fraud Manager, and Senior Fraud Analyst, where Joel was responsible for guiding fraud strategies, managing analyses, and improving machine learning models. Joel's background also includes a tenure at Farfetch as a Senior Fraud Analyst, and involvement as an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Joel holds an Executive Program degree in Future Leaders from Porto Business School, completed in 2019.
