Roxana Attar

Roxana Attar is a Senior Data Scientist at Feedzai since July 2019, where leadership of small teams focuses on developing AI and machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud for notable banks, retailers, and merchants using algorithms such as LightGBM and Random Forest. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist role at Feedzai and an internship at Nextech Systems, where data cleaning, feature extraction, and recommender system development were key responsibilities. Academic contributions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia involved instruction in various technical subjects, while research assistantships included implementing an automated topic modeling system and analyzing gene mutation datasets for cancer correlations. Roxana Attar holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering and a graduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia.
