Paul Cohen

Paul Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Paul started their career in the Swedish Armed Forces, where they completed a Gruppbefälsutbildning. After that, they worked as a system developer at Lantmäteriet before joining Enea AB as a Senior Consultant, where they contributed to the development of bespoke business systems and a general RBAC-based authorization product.

Paul then moved to Generic, where they served as a Senior Consultant, specializing in programming and development of a general RBAC-based authorization product and contributing to the Eiffel programming language. Paul later joined Inera AB as a Technical Lead for Sil, responsible for developing software systems for medical drug information and related services, including Sil SOAP API, the national Swedish API for medical drug information.

Following their time at Inera AB, Paul joined Stiftelsen Swedish Institute for Drug Informatics (SIDI) as the Chairman of the Board, overseeing the organization's activities and governance. Paul also held the position of Secretary of the board at Reymersholms IK for four years.

Paul then transitioned to Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset, where they served as an Advisory IT Strategist and Software Architect. Subsequently, they joined Feelgood Svenska AB as the Chief Technology Officer and also held the position of IT Strategist and Tech Lead for the company.

Most recently, Paul became the CEO of Seibo Software Studios AB, where they are responsible for leading the company and its strategic direction. Paul also holds the position of Partner and has extensive experience in software engineering, architecture, design, development, and tech lead roles, with a focus on e-health and medical drug informatics.

In addition to their professional work, Paul has held leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as the Chairman of the Board at the Stiftelsen Swedish Institute for Drug Informatics and the Chairperson of the Board at Feelgood Svenska AB.

Paul Cohen earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1986 to 1992. Prior to that, they pursued Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the same institution between 1984 and 1986. Paul completed their Higher Secondary Education at Katedralskolan, Lund from 1981 to 1984, focusing on The Natural Science Programme.
