Aoife Byrne

Aoife Byrne is an experienced Environmental Engineer at Fehily Timoney and Company Ltd. since April 2017, specializing in supervising environmental site investigations, preparing Environmental Risk Assessments, and monitoring landfill gas. Prior experience includes serving as a WASH Engineer for GOAL Global, overseeing the construction of WASH facilities in Sierra Leone, and working as a Research Field Officer at Eawag, where research focused on processing faecal sludge for energy recovery. Additional early experience as a Trainee Landfill Manager at Greenstar involved environmental monitoring and health and safety audits. Aoife holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and a Master of Science in Engineering, Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
