Brian Rood

Brian Rood is an experienced lighting technician and designer with a background in both freelance and touring roles. Currently, Brian serves as an LED Touring Technician for Taylor Swift and previously held a similar position for Elton John. Brian has been a freelance lighting technician since July 2018, also working as a lighting designer on various projects. Prior experience includes managing lighting and scenic elements for corporate events at Merestone and designing lighting for live performances at Evening Entertainment - LiveWire. Brian's earlier roles include various positions at Amazon and a foundational role as an Assistant to the Technical Director at Xavier College Preparatory. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatrical Design and Production from Arizona State University.
